Russia claim European gymnastics men's team title

    ATHENS, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Russia took the men's team title at the European gymnastics championships in Volos, Greece on Saturday.

    Russia, who last claimed the title in 2000, got the gold with a total of 272.225 points.

    The silver medal went to Romania, winners of the last two events in 2002 and 2004, with a score of 270.325.

    Belarus, silver medallists two years ago, totalled 268.975 to edge out Ukraine for the bronze medal. Enditem
