    MADRID, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Barcelona retained their Spanish Primera Liga title on Wednesday after beating Celta Vigo 1-0 on Wendesday.

    Second-placed Valencia lost 2-1 to Real Mallorca in an earlier match had actually given them the title without play. 

    Barca top the table on 79 points, Valencia have 68 from 36, two ahead of Real Madrid who will play Racing Santander on Thursday.

    It is Barcelona's 18th league title. Enditem
