Wang Hao wins opener for China in Swaythling Cup final

    BREMEN, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Wang Hao defeated South Korea's Oh Sang Eun 3-0 in the opener of the final at the 48th World Team Table Tennis Championships here on Monday.

    Wang blanked Oh 11-6 despite a tight race at the initial stage,and took the second set 11-8.

    The Chinese paddler, who looked in very good form, unleashed powerful attacks against the South Korean top player to win the third 11-4 and to seal the match in just 15 minutes.

    South Korea called time-out when the scores were 4-0 with Wang Hao in the lead, yet Oh could not find a way out.

    China leads South Korea 1-0 in the best-of-five final. Enditem
