    BREMEN, April 30 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese women paddlers overpowered Hong Kong of China 3-1 Sunday to take the Corbillin Cup at the 48th World Team Table Tennis Championships in Bremen, Germany.

    Top-ranked Zhang Yining beat Hong Kong's Ling Lin 3-0 before Guo Yue lost 3-1 to Tie Yana, who comes from Henan Province, for a1-1 tie in the opening matches.

    Veteran Wang Nan then rallied from two sets dwon to defeat Lau Sui Fei, a strong challenger from China's Jiangsu Province, who represents Hong Kong in the tournament.

    Zhang Yining came out again, sealing the match with an easy 3-0 victory over Tie Yana.

    Hong Kong of China remained in the second place as it made two years ago in Doha, Qatar.

    Belarus and Japan finished third at the championships. Enditem
