Athletes Committee to promote PyeongChang's 2014 bid

    SEOUL, April 30 (Xinhua) -- A 25-member Athletes Committee established by PyeongChang 2014 in December, will be promoting PyeongChang's bid for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

    In coming months the committee, made up of top current and former national winter sports athletes, will boost PyeongChang's bid at major sporting competition and key meetings around the world.

    According to PyeongChang 2014 they will also lend insight and advice to guide the construction of PyeongChang's winter sporting venues, its preparation of bid documents, and readiness for the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) evaluation visit. Enditem
