PYONGYANG, April 29 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Saturday condemned the United States for committing more than 160 cases of aerial espionage against it in April by mobilizing different types of reconnaissance planes.

    The DPRK denounced the United States for using U-2s to make daily shuttle flights over the DPRK's strategic targets through April, the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) quoted a military source as saying.

    "Their RC-135 and EP-3 and other types of tactical reconnaissance planes also committed many espionage activities against the DPRK in April, " said the KCNA.

    The United States also conducted a lot of special espionage activities against the DPRK during the 18th inter-Korean ministerial talks from April 21 to April 24, said the KCNA, adding that such actions "made the situation more tense".

    The DPRK said the United States committed more than 180 aerial espionage activities in March. Enditem
