Jennifer Aniston quits smoking to sing in musical
www.chinaview.cn 2006-04-28 10:27:37

BEIJING, April 28 -- Jennifer Aniston, the star of "The Break Up," has stopped smoking.

The 37-year-old actress reportedly wants to keep her voice in good condition in order to be able to sing in a musical.

The "Friends with Money" star is inspired by Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon who rocked movie fans with her vocal ability in "Walk the Line," a movie in which she was singing with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix. Their fantastic collaboration was appreciated and therefore they were nominated for best "Collaborative Video of The Year" at Country Music Television (CMT) Awards this year, even though they did not win.

Besides Reese, Aniston is also inspired by Nicole Kidman since the 39-year-old sang wonderfully in her movie titled "Moulin Rouge!" that made her nominated in Oscar 2002.

Jennifer Aniston, as quoted by Hollywood.com, says "I have quit the cigs so that I can get my voice in shape."
