ROME, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Organisers of the ATP Rome Masters Thursday announced that American Andre Agassi had pulled out of the ATP event due to back injury.

The Masters is slated between May 8 and 14, but Agassi, who has only played in three tournaments so far this season, will be sidelined because of an ongoing back problem.

The 35-year-old Agassi, who made it to the final of the last US Open, was forced to pull out of the Miami Masters Series last month because of the same problem. Enditem
