BEIJING, April 27-- Brazilian super star Ronaldinho has been named the official representative of the Chinese PC giant, Lenovo, in its global promotion campaign.

Ronaldinho, the world footballer of the year, has signed an agreement with Lenovo on Wednesday night.

He will play the main role in Lenovo's latest TV advertisement, which will be broadcast all over the world.

The 26-year-old Ronaldinho has just beat David Beckham's three-year record as soccer's richest player, according to France Football magazine's annual rich list.

The Brazilian forward is now earning more from advertising than from football. His growing endorsement portfolio includes PepsiCo, Nike , Cadbury Schweppes and Groupe Danone.
