Bush taps TV anchor as White House spokesman

    WASHINGTON, April 26 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President George W. Bush on Wednesday named Fox News anchor Tony Snow as new White House press secretary, to replace Scott McClellan as his chief spokesman.

    Snow was Bush's first choice for the job, and he had been mulling the offer for the last several days, Fox News reported.
