HANGZHOU, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Two people were still missing after a fishing boat capsized early Wednesday morning off the coast of East China's Zhejiang Province, said the local maritime bureau.

The accident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. in the sea areas 60 sea miles east of Xiangshan County under Ningbo City when the fishing boat "Zhelingyu-8325" collided with another fishing boat amid heavy fog.

Eight sailors aboard Zhelingyu-8325 fishing boat were thrown into sea waters and six of them were saved by nearby fishing boat "Zhelingyu-5699".

Ningbo maritime rescue center received the report of the accident at about 5 a.m. Wednesday and immediately sent ships and rescuers to search for the missing sailors.

The rescue efforts were still going on and the rescuers have not found the whereabouts of the two missing by press time. Enditem
