BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhuanet) -- Although U.S. star
basketball player LeBron James had contributed a triple-double in his playoff
debut, his legend was cut down in Game 2 as he missed 18-of-25 shots and
committed career high 10 turnovers Tuesday night.
The Cleveland Cavaliers was beaten by the
Washington Wizards 89-84.
This time, the fifth-seeded Wizards found a way to corral
James. Late in the first quarter, Washington center Brendan Haywood had a
message for James by fouling him hard in the paint and put him in a headlock.
Aside from being much more physical with James, the
Wizards dumped their Game 1 strategy of sending a second defender at him. That
forced him to create his offense in one-on-one matchups.
"They had a great scheme by playing me 1-on-1," said
James, who finished with 26 points and 9 rebounds. "I missed a lot of shots,
layups that I usually make. They did a great job."
Gilbert Arenas led the Wizards with 30 points, six assists
and six rebounds. Caron Butler added 21 points and nine boards before fouling
out and Antawn Jamison chipped in 21 points. Enditem
