Former NBA star Rodman plays in the Philippines

    MANILA, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Former U.S. star player Dennis Rodman of the National Basketball Association (NBA) also known as the "The Worm" arrived here Wednesday to play in exhibition games in Quezon City, Metro Manila and in Cebu province next month, local TV reported.

    The usually flamboyant Rodman was in a simple white T-shirt, baseball cap and dark pants when he met reporters for a brief press interview.

    Rodman said he will lead a team of former NBA players against the Philippines' very own local cagers with their first game to beheld at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.

    Rodman, known as one of the best defensive players in the NBA, was with two other former NBA cagers Alex English and Thaire Mustafa. Enditem
