BREMEN, Germany, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese men's team coach Liu Guoliang singled out Wang Hao to praise Tuesday at the 48th World Team Table Tennis Championships, for his performance against Dutch veteran Trinko Keen in the second round of group matches.

Wang Hao, who made his debut at this tournament, beat Keen 3-0 though he had never faced the left-handed Dutch player before.

"Wang Hao did quite well in playing against the Netherlands' No.1 player," Liu said, adding Keen's playing style was quite unique and difficult to handle.

Commenting on another young player Ma Long, Liu said that as his rival was quite weak in techniques, it was hard to judge how he performed, but he was a little bit nervous in the first set and relaxed later on.

Liu noted Ma Long should be more confident in front of the table, hoping that he could get better as the matches went on.

Wang Liqin, Wang Hao and Ma Long defeated the Dutchman in straight sets on Tuesday.

On the previous day, Wang Liqin, Ma Lin and Chen Qi beat Romaina 3-0 to reach the second round of group phrase.

They will face Denmark Wednesday at the third round, and in Liu's opinion, the Danes are as strong as the Swedish side in Group A with Michael Maze in their team.

On the same day, the Chinese women's team easily beat their second and third rivals Serbia and Belarus in group matches, both at 3-0.

The Chinese women will on Wednesday face Romania, who lost to Belarus Tuesday. Enditem
