TOKYO, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Republic of Korea
(ROK) started early Monday its research mission which is to survey ocean currents
around a set of disputed islets controlled by ROK but also claimed by Japan, Kyodo
News reported.
SEOUL, July 3 (Xinhua) -- The South Korean
government appealed on Monday that Japan need not to overreact to the ongoing
maritime survey in waters near the disputed islets of Dokdo in the East Sea (Sea
of Japan).
TOKYO, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Former Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda reiterated on Friday in Indonesia that it is necessary for his country to improve ties with China and South Korea, according to news reaching here.
