Germany condemns terrorist attacks in Egypt
www.chinaview.cn 2006-04-25 21:05:54

BERLIN, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Germany strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Dahab in which 23 people were killed and dozens of others wounded.

"The German government severely condemns these murderous attacks which have claimed so many innocent lives and injured many more," German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said in a statement.

The bombings, which took place late on Monday, once again showed that terrorists "will stop at nothing in their blind hatred," he said.

A total of 29 foreigners were among the injured and one German was killed in the triple bombings. Diplomats assumed that more Germans were among the injured, Steinmeier said. Enditem
