CANBERRA, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Australian Prime Minister John Howard on Tuesday condemned the triple terror attacks in Egypt, describing them as "inexcusable."

Three explosions rocked Red Sea resort of Dahab in Sinai Peninsula on Monday evening, killing at least 30 and wounding morethan 100, including two Australians.

"I want to join others in unreservedly condemning what is obviously another terrorist attack," Howard told reporters.

"It has indiscriminately claimed many lives, both of Egyptians and also foreigners," he said.

"It is plainly another inexcusable terrorist attack which deserves universal condemnation," he said.

"It is a reminder to nations, Islamic and non-Islamic, all nations, that terrorism doesn't respect national identity," said the prime minister.

"It doesn't respect religion. It doesn't respect national borders and it plainly doesn't respect human life and the nature of the challenge remains immense," he said.

The Australian government has reviewed and reissued its travel advisory to Egypt, advising Australians to exercise "high degree of caution" in the Middle East country. Enditem
