    SEOUL, April 28 (Xinhua) -- A senior South Korean government official said Friday that South Korea would push ahead the process of renaming sea floor features near the disputed islets of Dokdo when ready.

    SEOUL, April 25 (Xinhua) -- South Korean President Roh Moo-hyunon Tuesday said his country will strongly and firmly respond to any provocative actions taken by Japan in future.

    Roh made the remarks in his special speech on South Korea-Japan relations which was being televised to the whole nation.

Japan agrees to withdraw survey plan in disputed waters

    SEOUL, April 22 (Xinhua) -- South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan said Saturday that Japan agreed to withdraw its maritime survey plan in the disputed waters after a two-day negotiation.
