Sacramento's Artest suspended

    WASHINGTON, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The Sacramento Kings will miss their star Ron Artest on Tuesday's game because he was suspended one game without pay for making forearm contact to the head of Manu Ginobili of the San Antonio Spurs.

    The incident occurred with 9:07 to play in the third quarter of the Spurs' 122-88 win over the Kings on Saturday.

    Before that, Artest was hit in the mouth by Ginobili's elbow onthe game's opening possession. The cut inside his upper lip required three stitches.

    The King will play against the Spurs in Game 2 of the series, which will place in San Antonio Tuesday night. Enditem
