Miami's Haslem suspended one game

    WASHINGTON, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem was suspended by NBA for one game without pay for throwing his mouthpiece at an official.

    Haslem was ejected in the second quarter of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Chicago Bulls for throwing his mouthpiece in the direction of referee Joe Crawford. Miami won the game 111-106.

    Haslem was going for a rebound and got tangled up with Chicago's Andres Nocioni under the Bulls' basket with 4:11 left in the half. Haslem tumbled to the floor, and obviously upset a foul wasn't called, removed his mouthpiece and threw it at the legs of Crawford.

    Crawford immediately called a double-technical on Haslem, who was sent to the tunnel leading to the locker room.

    Haslem will miss Game 2 of the series on Monday night. Enditem
