BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- The ongoing campaign to
maintain the advanced nature of the Communist Party of China (CPC) members
should become a long-term mechanism in the Party's work, a senior CPC official
said here Monday.
At a national meeting of the ongoing campaign to
maintain the advanced nature of CPC, He Guoqiang, head of the Organization
Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said
building and improving the long-term mechanism of keeping CPC members advanced
nature is a crucial criterion for evaluating the campaign's achievements.
He, member of the CPC Central Committee's Political
Bureau and Secretariat, said the work focus of the third phase of concentrated
education to keep the party members' advanced nature should fall on the
establishment of the long-term mechanism of keeping advanced nature.
Education and training of CPC members, promoting
democracy within the Party, discipline and supervision of the organization of
the party are the major contents of keeping the advanced nature of CPC members,
He said.
He also called for innovation of setting up party
systems, which will be more practical and more concrete. He said Party members
