JERUSALEM, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Israeli rescue crew in the southern city of Eilat went on high alert and were prepared for an evacuation of wounded after three blasts rocked Egyptian Sinai resort town of Dahab Monday evening, which killed at least 30 people and injuring about 150 others.

According to Israel's Channel 10 TV station, three Israelis were injured in Dahab blasts and were evacuated to hospitals in Israel.

It was not clear what their conditions were.

Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency medical service said that it had about 20 ambulances standing by at the Taba border crossing between Israel and Egypt if needed.

The MDA has offered rescue assistance to its Egyptian counterpart through the International Red Cross and the Egyptian Red Crescent but has not received a reply, the service said in a statement.

MDA Director Eli Bin said the rescue organization is ready to provide help if necessary.

Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz instructed officials to offer Israeli aid and ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to prepare for extending any assistance required by Egypt.

The Prime Minister's bureau released a statement Monday night saying that interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to send his condolences.

The explosions occurred at about 7:15 p.m. local time (1715 GMT)in Nelson restaurant, Aladdin cafeteria and Ghazala supermarket respectively. Enditem
