    WELLINGTON, April 26 (Xinhua) -- A spokesman for the Opposition Party of Solomon Islands, Gordon Darcy Lilo, said Wednesday his party has written a letter of apology to Chinese Solomon Islanders who left island following riots.

    GUANGZHOU, April 25 (Xinhua) -- With the arrival of the second group of 310 overseas Chinese evacuees from the unrest-hit Solomon Islands early Tuesday morning, China has evacuated a total of 325 Chinese nationals safe and sound to the motherland.

    BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- About 310 overseas Chinese, including 21 from Hong Kong, are expected to arrive in Guangzhou from the Solomon Islands by a chartered flight in the small hours of Tuesday, which is the largest one ever held in nearly 20 years.

    BEIJING, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Altogether 310 overseas Chinese including 21 Hong Kong compatriots evacuated from the riot-torn Solomon Islands arrived in Guangzhou City in South China's Guangdong Province at 00:29 Tuesday morning. 

Chinese evacuaees from Solomon Islands leave for China

    CANBERRA, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Three hundred and ten Chinese evacuated from the strife-torn Solomon Islands left for China Monday afternoon from Papua New Guinea's capital Port Moresby onboard a chartered Boeing-777.
