MADRID, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Spanish city of Jaca has set up an executive commission to boost its bid for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, local media reported Sunday.

Jaca Mayor said one of the main functions of the commission is to coordinate the city's bid document. If Jaca was short listed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in June for the 2014 Games the bid committee would have to submit a document of about 600 pages that will have to be delivered to the IOC before January 10, 2007.

Fernandez Arimany, General Manager of Jaca 2014, said there was still sufficient time to work on the document but he wants to make sure that everyone involved in its production should take advantage of the time available.

Starting from May, Jaca 2014 plans several events to publicize its Winter Olympic bid. Enditem
