Four U.S. soldiers killed south of Baghdad

    BAGHDAD, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Four U.S. soldiers were killed in roadside bomb explosion south of Baghdad on Saturday, the U.S. military said.

    The four soldiers died in a combat patrol south of Baghdad when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb, the military said in a brief statement.

    At least 2,387 U.S. military personnel have been killed since the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003, according to media tally. Enditem
