    NEW YORK, April 20 (Xinhua) -- U.S. blue-chip stocks rallied on Thursday, with the Dow closing at its highest in six years.

    The Dow Jones industrial average was up 64.20 points, or 0.57 percent, to end unofficially at 11,342.97.

    The Standard &Poor's 500 Index was up 1.58 points, or 0.12 percent, at 1,311.51. But the Nasdaq Composite Index was down 9.08 points, or 0.38 percent, at 2,361.80. Enditem
