Special Report: Palestinian suicide bomber kills 6 in Tel Aviv
MADRID, April 17 (Xinhua) -- The Spanish government on Monday condemned the latest Palestinian suicide bomb attack which killed at least nine and wounded 40 others in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Spain offered support to and solidarity with the people of Israel and their government and contemned terrorism "in all its forms."
The ministry said that it felt the pain of the victims and their families.
A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up near the old central bus station in southern Tel Aviv on Monday afternoon. The bomber was identified as Sami Salim Mohamed Hammad, 20, a member of Saraya al-Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, from the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Enditem |
