WASHINGTON, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Bden Gordon from the Chicago Bulls and
Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers were named the NBA's top players for the
week ending April 16.
Gordon averaged 26.3 points, shooting 60 percent from three-point range, to
lead Chicago to a 4-0 record and a playoff berth.
In a 103-101 victory over Washington on April 14, Gordon tied the NBA's
all-time record for three-point field goals made in a single game without a
miss, going 9-of-9 from beyond the arc.
Bryant averaged a league-high 41.3 points, with 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists
and 3.33 steals per game, as the Lakers went 3-0 to clinch a playoff berth.
On April 14, Bryant scored 50 points in a 110-99 win over Portland to
surpass Elgin Baylor's single-season franchise scoringrecord of 2,719 points
