Shandong continues to top Chinese Super League

    BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Shandong continued to top the Chinese Super League after a 3-0 trouncing of Tianjin at the seventh round on Sunday.

    Han Peng opened the score for Shandong at the 22nd and Zheng Zhi put it two up two minutes later. Li Jinyu wrapped up Shandong's sixth victory this season at the 76th minute.

    Dalian moved up to second place following a 2-1 victory over Shenzhen. Its collection of 13 points is far away from Shandong's 18.

    Shenyang nipped Shanghai Shenhua 1-0 thanks to a 24th minute goal by Xu Bo and Tang Jing's 53rd minute goal gave Changchun a 1-0 win over Qingdao. Enditem
