Japan stresses unchanged bilateral ties with China
www.chinaview.cn 2006-04-14 21:33:38

TOKYO, April 14 (Xinhua) -- The basic principles on the development of Japan-China relations remain unchanged, said the "Diplomatic Blue Book 2006", which was published by Japan's foreign ministry on Friday.

The Japan-China relationship is one of the most important bilateral relationships in the world, and Japan will not change the principles of handling the relationship with China in a "forward-looking manner," the 257-page blue book said.

It highlighted that in recent years, bilateral economic ties have strengthened and the inter-dependence between the two countries has deepened, adding that China's economic development is a good opportunity for Japan.

The blue book also noted that Japan hopes to solve the problems hampering the comprehensive development of Japan-China relations through sincere dialogues. Enditem
