BEIJING, April 10 (Xinhuanet) -- The autopsies were
scheduled to be conducted on Monday to determine the cause of death for
eight men who were found murdered in a Canadian farmland.
The victims who police said are white were left in four vehicles parked on a wooded patch of land
about 20 miles from London, a city in the eastern province of Ontario.
"We are confident that all the victims were known to
each other and were from the greater Toronto area," Ontario Provincial Police
Detective Superintendent Ross Bingley said.
But Bingley refused to give more information of
the identities of the men or how they had died.
Investigators expected the information to be released
after relatives are notified and autopsies completed, though
they would not discuss any possible links to organized crime,
stressing only they had never had anything like this before in
Ontario. Enditem
