Special Report: Tension accelerates in Iraq
BAGHDAD, April 9 (Xinhua) -- A bomb went off in a minibus in eastern Baghdad on Sunday, killing three civilians and wounding seven others, a police source told Xinhua.
"A bomb detonated in a KIA minibus near the Mustansriyah University at about 2:35 p.m. (1035 GMT), killing three civilians and wounding seven others," Captain Ahmed Abdullah told Xinhua, citing initial police reports.
Earlier in the day, several roadside bomb blasts killed two civilians and wounded 10 others in and around Baghdad, according to a source from the Iraqi Interior Ministry. Enditem |
