JAKARTA, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia jumped to a 2-0 lead over Hong Kong of China in the Davis Cup Group II Asia/Oceania semifinals here on Friday, as Febi Widhiyanto had a winning return to the natioanl squad, the Jakarta Post reported on Saturday.

The former national number one outclassed Hong Kong's Yu Hiu-tung 6-3, 6-4, 6-4.

"I am happy to win. It was a good start for me after a long break," the paper quoted Febi as saying.

It has almost two years since Febi last played in the Davis Cup,when he won both his singles matches against New Zealand in Jakarta on April 9 to 11, 2004.

Last year, he was not chosen to join the cup because he failed to meet a deadline to train with other team members. The Indonesian team then lost a 2-3 squeaker to Uzbekistan in singles matches. Enditem
