BEIJING, April 6 -- Defending champions Guangdong have reached the CBA league finals once again after sweeping Jiangsu 3-0 in this year's semi-finals.

This will be Guangdong's fourth consecutive appearance in the league's finals.

Jiangsu, last year's runners-up, has gone all out Wednesday night putting on an outstanding performance, the best of the three semi-finals games.

The defending champions were too hard to topple, however, even though not playing on their home court. Guangdong beat Jiangsu 93-88 to win the best three-of-five semi-finals series.

Another semi-final has featured North Conference winners Beijing playing against the traditional powerhouse Bayi.

Hosts Beijing won the game 82-78 to lead the series 2-0.

Bayi's Mo Ke and Li Nan, both national team members, put on a great show, as they collectively added 39 points and 20 rebounds. Li Nan was extremely hot at free throws as he scored nine points from all the nine shots.

But such a strong performance was not enough to hold back veteran Menk Bateer, as the former NBA player contributed 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead Beijing on their way towards the finals.
