    PARIS, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Over one million people marched Tuesday for a fifth day in nearly 200 towns and cities across France to protest the newly approved First Employment Contract (CPE) law.

    PARIS, April 2 (Xinhua) -- French PM Dominique de Villepin said in a newspaper interview with the French weekend newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche published on Sunday that he made errors in his management of the controversial First Employment Contract (CPE) job law.

    PARIS, April 1 (Xinhua) -- French left-wing Socialist party called Saturday for a nationwide strike next Tuesday to protest the controversial job law, the First Employment Contract (CPE).

    PARIS, March 30 (Xinhua) -- France's Constitutional Council said Thursday that it had approved the government's new labor law which has sparked weeks of massive protests.
