Special report: Snap general election in Thailand

    BANGKOK, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra flew on an a helicopter to seek an audience with the King on 3:30 p.m. (0830 GMT) local time at the Kraikungwol Palace in Hua Hin Tuesday afternoon.

    Thaksin left Government House at 1:35 p.m. (0735 GMT) and went to Second Cavalry Division to fly on a helicopter there.

    Government House officials said it was a normal monthly visit. Enditem
