BAGHDAD, April 2 (Xinhua) -- The US military said on Sunday that two pilots of a US helicopter which crashed one day earlier southwest of Baghdad were presumed dead.

    The military said in a statement that the attack helicopter was believed to have been shot down at about 5:30 p.m. (1330 GMT) on Saturday near Youssifiyah, about 20 km southwest of Baghdad. "Two pilots are presumed dead, but recovery efforts continue following the crash," the statement said. Enditem
