BAGHDAD, April 2 (Xinhua) -- British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in Baghdad on Sunday, a British Embassy spokeswoman Lisa Glover said.

    The British spokeswoman said that Straw would talk with Iraqi politicians to discuss their progress of the construction of a newgovernment.

    The spokeswoman refused to say anything about Rice's schedule in Iraq, nor the purpose of their visit. Enditem
