Shanghai lifts 3rd league title in a row

    BEIJING, April 2 -- Defending champion Shanghai beat Jiangsu, 3-0, in the final to win their third straight title of the men's volleyball league.

    Shanghai, who outlasted Jiangsu 3-2 in the first match of the best-of-three finals, continued their good form in Saturday's match.

    Home side Jiangsu took a 10-8 lead early in the first set, but fell to errors in critical moments and lost, 22-25.

    The two teams exchanged leads in the second set. And Shanghai took the mistakes of Jiangsu and won, 25-20.

    Leading 24-19 in the third set, Shanghai converted match points by a service ace of Tang Miao and wrapped up the victory, 25-20.
