JAKARTA, April 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta has issued a warning of possible terror attacks on western targets in Indonesia this weekend.

    "Recent reports suggest that Sunday April 2, 2006 could be one potential date for an attack; however, terrorist attacks can occur at any time, anywhere in Indonesia," the embassy said in a statement reaching here Saturday.

    Likely sites for attacks are locations frequented by foreigners and identifiably American or other western facilities or businesses in Indonesia.

    "Reports suggest attacks could include targeting individual American citizens," it said. Enditem
