BANGKOK, March 31 (Xinhua) -- Hundreds of pro-Thaksin motorcycle taxi drivers held a demonstration outside the head office of Manager Group in Bangkok Friday afternoon, causing temporary chaos.

The motorcyclists staged a noisy protest outside the head office of Manager Group of Sondhi Limthongkul, a local media mogulturned arch critic against caretaker Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, at about 5:00 p.m. (1000 GMT). A live coverage from ASTV showed the motorcyclists staging a blockade on the Tha Pha Arthit Raod for about 10 minutes. But they were dispersed soon after dozens of policemen rushed to the area.

During the short protest, the demonstrators threw bottles into the yard of Manager head office, shouting "Sondhi get out". The damage could not be evaluated immediately.

Meanwhile, Manager's crew blared a song in satire of Thaksin to fight back at the shouts of the motorcyclists.

Sondhi, the founder of an anti-Thaksin group -- the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) -- has been accused over his recent remarks on stage before the campaigners. The caretaker government officials have announced that they would take legal actions against him and other PAD core members after the April 2 general election. Enditem
