TEHRAN, March 31 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted western Iran early Friday, killing one and injuries two, the official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA)reported.

    The quake struck at 01:05 local time Friday (21:35 GMT Thursday) and the epicenter was mountainous villages south of Boroujerd and north of Doroud, said IRNA.

    One person was killed and two others injured in a village , Doroud governor Nasrollah Rashno was quoted as saying. Enditem
