Heads of 7 Japan-China friendship organizations to visit China

    Heads of seven Japan-China friendship organizations based in Japan will visit China at the end of March as guests of the China-Japan friendship association, Qin announced.

    Qin said that the Japanese guests will exchange views with persons in charge of relevant organizations from the Chinese side on how to increase non-governmental exchanges and promote the development of bilateral relations.

    The Chinese leaders will meet with representatives from both sides, according to Qin.

    "We attach great importance to this visit," Qin said,

    The non-governmental exchanges between China and Japan are of great significance to the enhancement of the friendship between the two peoples and to the improvement and development of China-Japan relations, the spokesman said, expressing the hope that the coming visit could turn out helpful in this regard.
