ISLAMABAD, March 26 (Xinhuanet) -- A bomb exploded near the house of the chief executive of Pakistan's southwestern province of Balochistan on Sunday, causing damage to its exterior but no one was hurt, witnesses said.

Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf was not at his residence in the town of Lasbela, some 450 km southeast of the provincial capital of Quetta, when the blast occurred.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blast and police said they had registered another case against the unknown terrorists.

Also on Sunday, a bomb went off close to a government building in the city of Khuzdar, a town 300 km away from Quetta, and caused minor damage to the office.

Meanwhile, four explosions were heard somewhere near Quetta airport at 4 a.m. in the morning.

The blasts were heard in a 10-second interval. However, police officials did not confirm the blasts.

All these incidents took place at a time Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz is on a two-day visit to Quetta. Enditem
