CANBERRA, March 25 (Xinhua) -- British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie touched down in Melbourne, Australia's second largest city, Saturday evening for a four-day official visit to Australia, Australian Associated Press reported.

The couple will attend the closing ceremony on Sunday night, before flying to Canberra early Monday morning for a ceremonial welcome and lunch with Australian Prime Minister John Howard.

Blair will then address federal parliament, outlining his foreign policy vision.

He will also speak at the opening session of an Australia-UK Leadership Forum, according to the agenda of his visit. Enditem
