Polish boxer sues promotor Don King Products

    WARSAW, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Polish light heavyweight boxer Tomasz Adamek has sued his promotor for not organising fights for him, local media reported on Thursday.

    According to the contract Adamek had signed, his promotor, Don King Production, is in charge of organizing four fights every year.

    But he has not been fighting for the last five months, and tired of waiting for the company to organise the next fight, The Polish boxer filed a suit against Don King Products.

    Adamek became the first Pole to win the WBC world title in the USA in May 2005 by beating Paul Briggs from Australia.

    He has not been fighting since October 2005 when he won the WBC light heavyweight champion again with a 6th-round KO over mandatory challenger Thomas Ulrich in Dusseldorf, Germany. Enditem
