BEIJING, March 23 -- The International Skating Union has added an extra bonus to reward the world's best figure skaters.

    In the latest awards package, the overall season's top three skaters or pairs in men and women's singles, pairs and ice dancing, will share bonus money totaling 450 thousand US dollars.

    The new rules also apply to medal winners at the World Championships, with the same amount of money at stake.
