GAZA, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Gunbattle between the Fatah's armed wing and security forces erupted in the Gaza Strip on Monday, wounding at least six, security sources said.

The gunbattle broke out when dozens of gunmen from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades demonstrated along the road of Sahah el-Dein, calling on the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) to let them in its security forces.

Guards of Ala'a Hossni, chief of police apparatus who was heading to Erez crossing, exchanged fire with the militants who was trying to close the road in an attempt to prevent any PNA official from leaving the Gaza Strip for the West Bank.

During the gunbattle, two militants and two policemen were wounded.

Meanwhile, at least another two Palestinians were wounded when dozens of gunmen from the brigades exchanged fire with security members while breaking into a power plant in Gaza.

According to witnesses, the gunmen newly recruited in PNA security forces attacked the power plant in an effort to ask for their delayed salaries.

Also on Monday, dozens of Palestinians, most of them members of the brigades, demonstrated before the compound of governmental ministries in Gaza City, calling on the PNA to give them jobs. Enditem
