The gunbattle broke out when dozens of gunmen from
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades demonstrated along the road of Sahah el-Dein, calling
on the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) to let them in its security forces.
Guards of Ala'a Hossni, chief of police apparatus who
was heading to Erez crossing, exchanged fire with the militants who was trying
to close the road in an attempt to prevent any PNA official from leaving the
Gaza Strip for the West Bank.
During the gunbattle, two militants and two policemen
were wounded.
Meanwhile, at least another two Palestinians were

members while breaking into a power plant in Gaza.
