ZHANGJIAJIE, March 19 (Xinhua) -- The Russian aerobatic team "Russian Knights" completed its three-day aerobatic show in Zhangjiajie, a city in central China's Hunan Province, on Sunday afternoon.

The show on Sunday lasted for about three hours from about 2:00p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some aviation enthusiasts at the airport were invited to fly aboard the aircraft on Sunday.

The three-day show attracted 100,000 aviation enthusiasts and spectators at the airfield and a nearby park. Many locals also tried to get glimpses of the aircraft from the roof of their homes.

Set up in 1991, the "Russian Knights" team is the only aerial stunt team in the world using heavy aircraft. The planes are decorated in white, red and blue.

The three-day air show included performances by 10 Russian aircraft including SU-27 fighter jets, SU-30 fighter jet, IL-78 re-fueling tanker and Yak-52 sport propeller plane. Enditem
