JAKARTA, March 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Indonesian State radio station (RRI) has been trying to send its broadcast in 11 languages in an effort to facilitate foreigners in the country to obtain factual and accurate information, and is planning to send broadcast in twomore languages in the future, Antara news agency
reported Sunday.
"We have been making a try-out to broadcast our news in 11 international
languages, such as Arabian, English, French, German,Indonesian, Japanese,
Korean, Malaysian, Mandarin (Chinese), Spainand Thai, the news agency quoted RRI
Director Parni Hadi as sayingin Bali Saturday night.
Two more foreign languages the RRI will use in the future are Russian and
Italian, he said, adding that the foreign listeners will hopefully receive
correct information on Indonesian affairs from the RRI news broadcast. Enditem
